It’s Monday. What better day to rekindle the blog.
I moved house, I had a jolly good summer, I passed the exam for medical school. Now normality is slowly resuming.
Excited for this week: orchestra // yoga // climb // new job, new learning // screen printing // sourdough baking // Spain
Summer shots from my new Polaroid.
So, decision-making is pretty much done now, since most options were stolen from me last week (university rejections, scholarship rejections blah). But that’s okay! I’m happy to be able to make plans now.
June- stop working, Glastonbury
July- medschool entrance exam, then travel and climb
August- travel, come home, move out
September- find a new job
In other news, I may have found the best chocolate muffin recipe ever. I’ll find and post it.
Today- farmer’s market and craft fair // homemade soup // making chocolate brownies // knitting hats and socks
I’m always writing about Sundays, but I do like Sundays. And days off work.
New things this week- spinning // choir // parsnip soup
Oh, and I finally found a chocolate brownie recipe that I am actually satisfied with.
I like Sundays. Today has been a mix of sorting out my life, knitting, interview preparation and baking of course.
Pumpkin spice loaf.
Potato printing – making a pumpkin spice loaf – knitting a blue hat – going for a run on the Chevin – interview preparation – chai tea – making a birthday cake – climbing tonight
+ ‘Far From Portland’ by Lau. Beautiful stuff. Talent envy.
It’s been a while.
I’ve been MIA for a while. Being home has been super busy. Here’s to the next chapter of life… not a particularly exciting one, but I’ll make the best of it!
Things to achieve by the end of the year:
* apply to medschool
* have some money again
* find a job for next year
* make everything on my baking and cooking lists
* book a trip to France to skiiiii
* knit a hat. Preferably of the cable variety. With a bobble, obviously.
